Mr. Mahant is responsible for providing strategic management of the accounting and finance functions of Northleaf Capital’s corporate entities, including corporate accounting, financial reporting and budgeting.

Prior to joining Northleaf’s predecessor, TD Capital Private Equity Investors, in 2009, Mr Mahant was Assistant Vice-President, Finance at IA Clarington Investments, a publicly traded investment management firm, where he was responsible for all corporate and management reporting. Previously, Mr Mahant was Corporate Controller at Altamira Investment Services Inc. Mr. Mahant began his career at Peat Marwick Thorne, Chartered Accountants.

Mr. Mahant received a B. Comm from Laurentian University and holds the Chartered Accountant designation.
