Mr. Marcovitz is responsible for all tax functions of Northleaf Capital Partners, including general tax planning, strategy and compliance relating to the global fund of funds program, customized mandates and their investments.

Prior to joining Northleaf’s predecessor, TD Capital Private Equity Investors, in 2009, Mr. Marcovitz was a senior manager in the U.S tax group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Toronto, where he advised Canadian businesses on investing and operating in the United States. Since 1999, Mr. Marcovitz has held similar roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte and Touche in Toronto, and also for four years in London, U.K. where many of his clients were in the private markets industry.

Mr. Marcovitz received a B.A. in Economics and Political Science, with Distinction, from the University of Toronto and an LL.B. from Queen's University.
