Michael Flood
Managing Director

Mr. Flood is a member of Northleaf’s Management Committee and oversees the origination, evaluation and monitoring of the firm’s private markets investments, with a focus on investment sourcing, analysis and research relating to Northleaf’s private equity secondaries program. In addition, he is involved in Northleaf’s investor relations and business development activities. Mr. Flood serves on the advisory boards of several partnerships within Northleaf’s portfolio.

Prior to joining Northleaf’s predecessor, TD Capital Private Equity Investors, in 2001, Mr. Flood worked at Harrowston Inc., a publicly traded buyout group, where he was involved in building two of its platform companies, as well as assessing and investing in a number of new investment initiatives. Previously, Mr. Flood worked at Royal Bank Capital Partners, the private equity division of the Royal Bank of Canada. 

Mr. Flood received a B.A. from Queen’s University, a Master’s of Science from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
