Michael Flood
Managing Director

Mr. Flood manages Northleaf’s London office and is a member of the Investment Committee. He oversees the origination, evaluation and monitoring of primary and secondary Fund Investments and Direct Co-Investments and is primarily responsible for the investment sourcing and manager research relating to Northleaf’s European and selective North American investments, including Secondary Investments and special situations. In addition, he is involved in Northleaf’s investor relations and business development activities. Mr. Flood serves on the advisory boards of several partnerships within Northleaf’s portfolio.

Prior to joining Northleaf’s predecessor, TD Capital Private Equity Investors, in 2001, Mr. Flood worked at Harrowston Inc., a publicly traded buyout group, where he was involved in building two of its platform companies, as well as assessing and investing in a number of new investment initiatives. Previously, Mr. Flood worked at Royal Bank Capital Partners, the private equity division of the Royal Bank of Canada. 

Mr. Flood received a B.A. from Queen’s University, a Master’s of Science from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
