Northleaf Capital Partners (“Northleaf”) is pleased to announce that Geoff Rawle has joined our firm as a Vice President, Legal, based in our Toronto office. Geoff will participate in all legal aspects of Northleaf’s private markets investment activities, working closely with investment teams and external legal counsel to review, structure and execute transactions. Geoff is also involved in the legal and structuring elements of Northleaf’s investor relations, business development and fund formation activities, and assists with corporate matters.
Prior to joining Northleaf, Geoff was a Partner in the corporate/securities practice group at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP where he principally worked on private M&A, fund formation, technology transactions and private investments in public equity. Previously, he was Counsel at Bloomberg LP and an Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York.
Geoff received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Applied Science (with Distinction) from the University of Waterloo.
