Northleaf Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Michael Rafalovich has joined our firm as Legal Counsel, based in our Toronto office.
Michael participates in all legal aspects of Northleaf’s private markets investment activities, working closely with investment teams and external legal counsel to review, structure and execute transactions. Michael is also involved in the legal and structuring elements of Northleaf’s investor relations, business development and fund formation activities, and assists with corporate matters.
Prior to joining Northleaf, Michael was an associate at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, where he worked on a variety of transactions, including securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, fund formations and private equity investments. Michael received a Bachelor of Arts (Specialized Honours) from Laurentian University and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Osgoode Hall Law School.
