Debra Chan

Debra participates in communications and marketing activities across Northleaf’s private markets platform.

Prior to joining Northleaf in 2021, Debra worked at CIBC where she delivered strategic internal communications for enterprise-level change management initiatives. Previously, Debra was a Director at Scotiabank where she planned and executed executive and corporate communications for the global banking and markets and global wealth management teams. She also worked at Argyle Public Relationships, a communications consulting firm, providing strategic communications and media relations counsel for financial services firms. Debra began her career in media and investor relations.

Debra received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen’s University.
