Deven will participate in all legal aspects of Northleaf’s private markets investment activities, primarily working with investment teams and external legal counsel to review, structure and execute transactions.
Prior to joining Northleaf in 2023, Deven was an Associate in the Private Equity/M&A team at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in San Francisco and previously was an Associate in the Corporate Group at Miller Thomson LLP in Toronto. Before attending law school, Deven was an Account Director at the Cornerstone Group of Companies.
Deven received a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University and a B.Sc. from Trinity College, University of Toronto.
