Hidefumi (Ray) is responsible for Northleaf’s business development activities in Japan, working closely with existing and prospective investors and gatekeepers, investment consultants and advisors to design, develop and monitor their private markets portfolios.
Prior to joining Northleaf in 2023, Ray was a Senior Advisor/Managing Director at Crosspoint Advisors where he advised international fund managers on their capital raising strategies and activities in the Japanese market. Prior to that, Ray held senior roles with Barclays Capital Japan Limited (Tokyo), Deutsche Bank Group (New York, Tokyo), and JP Morgan Securities (Tokyo).
Ray received a Bachelor of Economics from Keio University in Japan.
