Northleaf adds two new associates to its growing investment team

Northleaf Capital Partners is pleased to announce that two new associates have joined its growing team. Thomas Staley has joined our firm as an Associate, Private Credit in our Chicago office and Wendy Zhang has joined as an Associate, Infrastructure, based in our Toronto office.

Thomas will participate in the origination, evaluation and monitoring of Northleaf’s private credit investments in North America. Prior to joining Northleaf, Thomas was an Associate in Corporate Client Banking at J.P. Morgan Securities where he worked on M&A and financing transactions in the financial institutions industry. Thomas received a Bachelor of Science in Finance (Magna Cum Laude) from Miami University.

Wendy will participate in asset management, portfolio construction, risk management and analytics to support Northleaf’s infrastructure funds. Prior to joining Northleaf, Wendy was an Analyst at Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec where she worked on portfolio analytics for the private equity team. Previously, she was an Actuarial Analyst at Willis Towers Watson where she worked on financial modeling for pension plan clients. Wendy received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from McGill University.
