David Ross joins us as Managing Director and Head of Private Credit, based in London. David will serve as a member of the Management Committee and the Private Credit Investment Committee. In this role, he will oversee all aspects of Northleaf’s private credit investment activities and will also be involved in Northleaf’s investor relations activities. Prior to joining Northleaf, David was a Managing Director at Sankaty Advisors (now Bain Capital Credit), a leading global credit specialist. At Sankaty, David was the Global Head of Sourcing and a member of Sankaty’s Opportunistic Credit and Private Credit team. David previously served as the co-Head of Sankaty’s London office from 2009 to 2013. David received a B.A. from Harvard College.
Alex Jackson joins the Private Credit team as a Director, based in London. In this role, he will participate in all aspects of Northleaf’s private credit investment activities, with a focus on UK and European transactions. Prior to joining Northleaf, Alex was an Investment Director at Hayfin Capital Management LLP, where he was responsible for the origination, execution and monitoring of UK mid-market credit transactions. Previously, Alex was a Director in the Acquisition Finance & Originations group at Lloyds Bank. Alex received a BSc (Honours) from Durham University.
Daniel Nguyen joins the Private Credit team as a Vice President, Investor Operations, Private Credit, based in Toronto. In this role, he will be responsible for the financial reporting and operations of Northleaf’s private credit business. Prior to joining Northleaf, Daniel was a Senior Controller at Westface Capital, where he was responsible for financial reporting, trade processing and settlement, and valuations of portfolio investments. Previously, Daniel was a Vice President in Global Transaction Services at Citigroup. Daniel received a BBA from York University and holds the CPA designation.
