Jeff Pentland will be moderating a panel at the 2012 Aboriginal Private Equity Summit.

The 2012 Aboriginal Private Equity Summit is a one day event which brings together fund managers, Aboriginal businesses and Aboriginal limited partners. This second annual event will provide First Nation, Inuit and Métis business leaders with a more in depth understanding of the private equity market and the opportunities for financing and investment. It will give private equity managers and advisors knowledge of financing, governance, investment and fundraising opportunities that exist in Aboriginal communities.

Stephen Foote and Jeff Pentland will be attending the Canadian Employee Benefits Conference on behalf of Northleaf Capital Partners.

The Canadian Employee Benefits Conference is designed for those involved in the management and investment of labour-management benefit trust funds in Canada to learn about and discuss investment issues with leading-edge thinkers in Canada.

The Buyouts Conference brings together over 300 attendees to discuss the latest trends in global private equity, including fundraising, deal financing and deal sourcing.

Michael Flood spoke on a panel entitled “Are Real Assets The Best Hedge Against Inflation? What Is The Optimum Way Of Accessing The Asset Class?” at SuperReturn Emerging Markets.

Over 350 attendees, including over 100 limited partners, gather annually to discuss and evaluate emerging market funds, with in-depth coverage of Turkey, China, India, Brazil and Africa.

Jeff Pentland will be speaking on a panel entitled “Exotic Alternatives – Timber, Agriculture and Commodities” at the PEI Global Alternative Investment Forum.
