James leads Northleaf’s business technology strategy and implementation efforts. He is focused on developing the short and long-term IT strategy for the firm, identifying and assessing business needs and leading the recommendation and implementation of technology solutions to support Northleaf’s global private markets investment strategy and better serve our investors.
Prior to joining Northleaf in 2017, James was an executive at Accenture Strategy, where he provided management consulting for strategy formulation and operational improvement with emphasis in the area of digital transformation, operating model and data governance. Previously, James was an Associate Partner and Executive Consultant at IBM where he co-lead a team of 85 practitioners for strategy consulting, M&A, and program and IT management consulting. James brings more than 20 years of senior experience in strategy and IT-related solutions.
James received an M.B.A. from the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).
