Srini Venkat

Srini leads Northleaf’s enterprise-wide strategy for information privacy and data governance. He is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the firm’s privacy and data governance programs.

Prior to joining Northleaf in 2025, Srini was Senior Product Manager, Privacy at Walmart Canada, where he led a multi-year program to operationalize Quebec Law 25–aligned privacy capabilities for their Canadian e-commerce business, spanning consent, data subject rights, incident management, PI data inventory, and data governance—while supporting growth. With a career spanning over 20 years, he has designed and delivered enterprise-wide data privacy and large-scale data and technology transformation programs for organizations across financial services, healthcare, retail, and the public sector in Canada, the UK, and India.

Srini received an M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Madurai Kamaraj University. He is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
