Emil participates in the origination, evaluation and monitoring of Northleaf’s private equity investments.
Prior to joining Northleaf in 2020, Emil led the sourcing, analysis and execution of private equity investments in small and mid-cap companies, as the President of Hven Advisors. Previously, Emil was a Principal at Vision Capital in New York where he was involved with the sourcing, analysis and execution of private equity and structured capital investments and served on the boards of a number of portfolio companies. Emil has also served as an Associate Director at UBS Investment Bank in London, and began his career at Macquarie Capital Funds in Hong Kong and Sydney.
Emil received a B.Comm. from the University of Sydney and an M.B.A. from INSEAD.
