Geoff participates in all legal aspects of Northleaf’s private markets investment activities, working closely with members of the investment teams and external legal counsel to review, structure and execute transactions. Geoff is also involved in the legal and structuring elements of Northleaf’s investor relations, business development and fund formation activities, and assists with corporate matters.
Prior to joining Northleaf in 2022, Geoff was a Partner at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP where he principally worked on private M&A, fund formation, technology transactions and private investments in public equity. Previously, he was Counsel at Bloomberg LP and an Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York.
Geoff received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Applied Science (with Distinction) from the University of Waterloo.
