James is actively engaged in supporting the distribution of Northleaf’s private markets strategies to retail, private wealth and asset management advisors and investors.
Prior to joining Northleaf in 2023, James held senior leadership positions at Macquarie Group in Toronto and New York, and most recently served as CEO & President of the MIRA Infrastructure Global Solution funds. James has more than 20 years of experience sourcing and executing investments, managing assets and building relationships with institutional and high-net-worth investors. Previously, James was at TD Securities Inc. and Hambros Canada Inc.
James received a Bachelor of Arts from Western University.
